Good morning all,Joe what type of coating is on your Boat bottom? This joke was sent to me in my e-mail yesterday,I laughed so hard I figured I'd share it, hope it doesn't offend anyone, its not intended to. Little Johnny's in his math class. The teacher is explaining subtraction to the kids. She poses this question to the class:" If three pigeons are perched on a wire and you shoot one off,how many are left?" The class is silent.Little Johnny raises his hand."You know the answer Johnny?"the teacher ask."Yes I do.If three pigeons are on a wire and you shoot one off, none are left. The other two would fly away."The teacher seems amused, but camly corrects Johnny,"No Johnny,if you shoot one off,two are left, but I like the way you're thinking." This only fustrates Johnny.About five minutes before class ends,Johnny raises his hand again. "Yes Johnny,"the teacher asks.Johnny says,"Three women are sitting on a park bench all eating ice cream cones. One's biting it,one's liking it,and one's sucking it;Which one's married?" The teacher seems a little confused, but decides to answer,"The one sucking it?" Little Johnny replies,"No the one with the ring on her finger, but I like the way you're thinking."

Jerry, I have no clue what type of coating it is. The guy at the marinea said it was somthing that would prevent barnacles, so you could leave the boat in the water if you wanted to. It look's like a new paint job, they also painted the inside of the boat, with some kind of stain that gives the fiberglass a greyish blue hue, the coating on the bottom is a dark grey color, and its not real smooth, its not rough either??? I'm fixen to go see what the trout think about it.. see ya

Hey Joe, To me it sounds like they put it in dry dock for a while. Another words they re-painted they entire boat to either make it better or to hide damages. Now the first thing that would hit my mind is what kind of damage? Note:Did you bring a mechanic with you to look at the motor before you bought the boat? It would have been very helpful. Normaly a boat that old would need the engine rebuilt.

Hey, all. Wow, been gone 12 days and there are 14 pages of postings here in that time. Hey, Jay, what ever happened? This job has the mileage and makings to be a good one. Just needs some fine tuning on both sides of the fence. MSO and prime need to get together and get this one on remote, THEN, it will be nice and there will be some good money that can be made. I'm gonna ride it till the wheels fall off! Damn, sounds like Doole landed a monster! 6000 miles could definitely have some longevity to it. Oh, and Cablmon, I am doing great. Thanks for asking. How's it rolling with you? Well, take care everyone. Back off to Kentucky tomorrow.

Hey Whitfield. Yeah, I am busy as hell. Trying to notch out a living on a Kentucky project that is still yet to get to the remote control side. You'd think it would be there after a year and a half. Some people just don't get it, I guess. Anyway, I just heard, on the John Boy and Billy morning show, that the King Mackerel tourney is on this weekend. You entered? Sure wish I could slip away for it. Doesn't seem like Mother Nature wants to cooperate though. Well, got to run so I can get back to Kentucky and be ready for work in the morning. Sure hope I don't end up in the easements on a Saturday. Everybody and their brother's will want to ask a bunch of questions and then there's the kids you have to watch out for at the base of the pole staring up at ya. Oh well, work is work. Take care and I'll try to slip off in a couple of weeks and hook up with ya. I'll call a couple days before to see what the conditions are like. Later.

Hey Terry, haven't forgotten ya on that tape, just been up in Kentucky for the past few weeks and I just popped in long enough to take Kathy to the airport for her trip to Cali, and now I have to get back on the road and get back so I can be ready to cut tomorrow. They are wanting to get this phase knocked out asap. Did you get Charlie on something? If not, tell him there's definitely money to be made there, it's just a pretty good jog from the house. Hope things are starting to kick for ya. Looks like you got out of Texas in the knick of time, huh? If your looking for a place to put a couple of aerial crews, give me a call. I see plenty of fiber in the warehouse and strongly believe they need some quality crews to get out ahead of the game. I'll give ya a plug, if your interested, to the PM up there. Tell Paige I said hello. Later.

Hey Jay, it all depends on what project your on in Virginia. We had no problems in Marion and South Hill, but Blacksburg and South Boston were a total different story. Your right though, if they get a wild hair up their ass, they sure can make a project difficult. The crash truck 100' from a working splicer in a 45mph zone, or higher, really was something. Not to mention the deliniation required. Later.
