Good Morning all,its the start of a new week.As I sat here and looked at the destruction caused by the first tropical storm of the season,compliments of the weather channel,I remeber only too well the destruction that old mother nature can cause.I worked hurricane damage From Hugo,Andrew,an alot of other storms throught the years.For those of you that have never seen such destruction,it can be heartwrenching too see people looking to find some piece of their life that was not blown away.In homestead Fla.I will never forget how it Just blew the houses away into giant piles of rubble,slabs and an occasional,toilet pipe sticking up.In Hugo,I worked in Sumpter S.C.,when I first got there,I can remeber how patches of pine trees looked like they had had a flat top haircut where tornadoes had just twisted their tops off,I'm talking 90 ftrs.I think of the trailer parks,some times if there was ten trailers,the tornadoes,would come by and only destroy three or four,other times wipeing out all.I still recall a photograph of a mobile home turned upside down and body slammed on top of this nice house as if a wrestler had placed it there.Hurricanes seem to change people within good communities,they become neighbors again.In the poor or lower class neighbor hoods look out'you better hire an armed guard with a machine gun to protect your shit.I've had people come up be talking to you, grab something out of your truck,run back into the getto, where you can't find them.Don't dare leave your truck,or any thing you own unattended,It won't be there when you get back!!Well I guess I've said enough for this morning talk at you'all later.Any body else got any hurricane stories?????????? S.F.F i dont know why you havent replied you must not like the ideal of actually being in charge. well how about this if you give me $100,000.00 we can open a steak house in india. you can be in charge and bring both of your freinds to work with you

My sympathy goes out to all that was hit by Tropical Storm Allison. Houston and Louisiana.
From what I seen in Louisiana we got over 2 ft of rain and its still flooding. Almost every store in town is closed. And I cant leave my home. Houston got it worse than we did.
Good Luck and I hope things work out for the best.The only good thing that has happend to me so far is I got Flood Insurance.

Daniel utility, prices on any thing wheather its automobiles or jobs, are all regulated by supply and demand. In the case of Catv,If there are more workers than there are jobs, then the prices will fall. But if more jobs are going on , than there are workers to work them , then prices will rise. And here in the south we have an over abundance of assholes that are willing to work for next to nothing. Basic Economics 101.

cabnl loser, first you should look at who your standing up for. he's to stupid to know that what i was writing was a joke the amish dont beleive in having electricity let alone cable. he thinks that anyone who looks for funding is a loser, i guess he's never heard of the stock market or banks. a month ago he was crying because everyone was on here talking about fishing instead of cable. as for as how much i'm on computor we use the internet to order parts and work updates.i also check the jobs wanted in here and look for empl. i hired a good one from here last week.

two parter. i also look to see if work is comming up in any states i am in. if you check my post times you can see that they ae before work and after i do paper work at night. as far as having a life i shoot in compititions twice a month and practice twice a week, i also do a little deep sea fishing and go to the races. so i have a life. iguess all most people are wandering is why your freind was so stupid that you and he wee the only two morons that didnt get the joke or mabe you are sff personal amish mechanic
