For Doug, Worked on the San Francisco job and that place is full of Fire Alarm and low secondaries. It also has to do with the voltage. Some Fire Alarm is Low Voltage and you can be 12" from it. Anything less than 48" (high voltage 120 +) in California takes a Guard Arm. Because of the cost of lowering Telco and CATV most are placing F-arms or cable arms.

I have seen fire on extention arms before, years ago we would move it ourselves, clearances provided of course, I never knew about 110 at 48, I was in Southern Cal but was doing sweep and didn't really pay attention to it, I have seen 110 ran on bare line in Fla to feed street lights though ( on arms ), check out, either 405 or 50 coming into Tituville from Orlando, thanks for the info.

Hello CABL,
My name is Rory. I am currently enrolled in a cable class at Fayettevile Technical Community College in North Carolina. I am looking for assistance in finding an up-to-date tap value chart which shows the insertion loss for 2 and 4 way taps at different MHz. Any info would be apreciated.
