very sorry for your loss doug....so glad she was saved. i lost my brother, my mothers only son and first born, to cancer in march and i still cry when i think of how he looked before he finally went to Jesus...but the look on his face before he left told my mom he was seeing the most awesome of sights, he looked at whoever was coming for him and tried to speak but could only smile...the joy of that moment has sustained my mom since and i know that your help is near...reach out and touch the Lord as he passes by, he will touch you back...God bless you and yours, and the reason for the season has lifted your momma and set her in the mansion he promised her, where glory abounds and she will never cry...she has a new and glorious body that is now eternal..praise God.

Thank you all so much for your heartfelt condolances. I've been a basket case for the last 3 weeks. I've never seen my mother beaten by anything. I used to call her from projects around the country and she would sooth my anxieties. Mom was tough, she laid there and fought for that last breath of air. You know, she grabbed my hand tightly and said,
Doug do you feel that love pumping thru this hand? I always will. Nothing prepares you for this. Thank you all for your support and kindness. I guess you never really understand it until you embrace it. Love you, Mom.
