1000 yrds, remind me not to ever piss you guys off.I'm happy when I make a three hundred yrd shot.Yeah Doug your sure right about Ricky, there aren't many like him anymore. He was the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back ,he was one of the best I've ever known,he was in my book tuff as nails.I haven't seen Cheryl for a couple years now.The last time I saw her she was visting someone in the hospital,I was there with my mom,we sat down and talked for a while. She said she had split up with Arlo and married someone else. She said Arlo had gone to Europe and he did what Brakefield and ASI did here in the states. She said thats about right, they had got divorced and he went to Europe and got rich big time.Sounded like she wished she would have stayed with him.I wonder if you or your brother would remember any of these guys from ASI,they were also from here.Jay Turnage,Greg Lewis,Tim Conners,Pike and Paul Quillin. It was like dayszhavoo when you talked about teams cutting trunk together.Thats how I learned to cut Trunk.A guy named (ChitChat)Edward Cachet, taught me on the same kind of dual plant in Cinn.Ohio.Chat was another one of those old dogs,I haven't seen or heard from him since we had a house together in Atlanta in 81.I can still picture him bringing his scoot into the living room to tear her down .He was out puttin and the chain broke and cracked the side case on her.He was heart broken. He left Atlanta going to Alberky N.M. with a red head that he got up with in Atlanta, she had placed an ad in Easy Rider mag.and Chat responded and they hooked up.Let me shut up and get off this thing.Sure is good to think about the old days though.See Ya GW

Hey Whitfield, got a ? for ya, I have a 20' Four Winns boat, can the maroon color be buffed out and a clear shot of Gel Coat sealer be applied to maintain the color after being buffed? I'd hate to have the whole boat re-gelled with color. Do they make just a clear coat sealer? Thanks. To all else have a good weekend. Later......

I remember Jay, him and Troy, I worked with Brian O'boyle for a while, every time we would piss them off by not turning paper work in on time or something they would stick us over in Oak Cliff, they always thought they were 'punishing us' but the fact of the matter was that there was good money to be made over there, loved it over there on the week-ends, a Bar-B-Q in every yard,, I also remember Conners, how about Eric Herbert, and then there was by the book military minded Lee, Doug Redultric, (sorry about the spelling) the Dearden boys, Jim and Crispy, (Chris), big Stan Holibar, what the hell was that warehouse mans name, I remember he had a paper route, this guy could get you anything you wanted, of course you had Pete and Callahan over in sweep, I ran into Shoemaker a couple years ago, he is still with Brakefield, out of St Pete, guess they partnered with SA, some of the best times of my life, it's too bad I didn't know it at the time

Just got home, the ocean sure is beautiful here today about 65% outside, where is the cold weather,it can stay away.Doug I know the Deardens also, good people.I heard Eric Herbert was running an office in Atlanta tied in with Brakefield.I still run into Lee Blanchard every now and then,I bet he still shi.. military green. He was a very well organised I'll give him that.Yeah those were the days!Hey CableGod ,you bought a good boat. That color fades worse than all the rest.If its not too far gone you can grid sand it and bring it back.To grid sand it you will need a jitterbug air palm sander,a large sponge, water bucket, carpenters pencil, wet sand paper,grits-###-####,-###-####,couarse rubbing compound and buffer. You have to draw giant tic tack toe board all down the side of her with the carpenters pencil. In doing this when you run the sander when the pencil line dissappears you have taken off one micro layer.Hold your sponge filled with water above your sander and allow the water to run from the sponge, just press it against the side of the boat and squeeze it slightly, keep the sander and the sponge moving. If its real chalky start with 600 if its not start with 1000,two complete grids to each grit of sandpaper, when you finish sanding buff it with heavy compound and the with polishing compound. You will have a finish that if you keep wax on it that will never fade again, but the key secret to keeping fiberglass new looking is wax.If you dont want to go through this pain staking process, you can clear coat it.Scuff the entire area to be painted with 330grit sand paper.Wash it off and use a good surface cleaner/wax remover to wipe it clean.I would recommend using a good polyurathane paint as it will last the longest. My prefrence if I intended to keep the boat for a long time would be the sanding and buffing.I hope this helps you .Time to head out in the woods and see if I can get that Big Buck this afternoon.See Ya GW

Rocky I used to do the same thing on modules, problem is when they come back from repair, no one will use them !!! other things around a ware house no one wants, taps that are loose, built equipment, modules that rattle or smell, fittings with teeth marks or cut pins, bent eq's or SA pad pins, and of course lets not forget the female house mouse, nano, 1 thousands of a million (10 to the 9th), ok what is the C/N formula?

Hey construction, what is the best formula to use when putting up strand? 40" from power, 30" mid-spand, 24" from bell unless you infringe into power? 12" above highest bell attachment, (including huricane clamps), what do you do if you don't have any room to frame? what are your 2 options with out having to wait for make ready? at what degree do you double dead head? 10, 15, 20, 25? how long should your bolt extend past the nut? what is a flying hitch? should you re-attach ground on a raise and run? If you have a man on your crew that gives up poles what should you do? how do you attach a hooter to a lasher? when installing QR cable what is the max footage for a single loop specs, or at what footage do you double loop? On a ABS fiber run what is the standard slack point footage and the standard footage that you drop them in? what is a magic box? a yellow belly? acorn? pickle? crab? when is it nessasary to use a break away on fiber and at what LB break point? what man on your crew should be watching the reel or fig 8? when jigging out fiber with no radios?
