oh yea and the standard for video modulation is amplitude modulation,(AM) frequency modulation (FM) is used for audio, this is standard television broardcasting procedure,,, yea I here it called micro bend all the time.

FDM Frequency Division Multiplexing WDM Wavelength Division Multiplexing....enables us to increase data rates or video information carried over a single fiber or coaxial cable. Pretty new stuff Doug, you're working with some cutting edge technology there.

it's very intriguing stuff, it's amazing what they can do with light, to not only use distinct optical sourses having their own center light wave frequencies, but to run them up-stream, down stream on the same piece of glass, and then there's the ammount of data and the tranfer rate, it's the way of the future, glass to glass is right around the corner,,,

Hey Doug,I was thinking of you last Sunday when I was home.I had gone by to visit my dads G. and when I do I also go by to see Ricky as he is only about 6g's away from my old man.I just thought I'd let you know that your old friend has always got nice flowers,they never seem to get old.Someone always keeps them up.I wonder too myself if its his sister Cheryl or his mom.At least our brother is always remembered.I will miss him forever.I was home on some business yesterday and moved some furniture for his brother Eddie's first wife.She had split up with her old man.I sure wish she and Eddie could get back together.She is a good friend of the wifes and every time I see her it brings back old memories.She looks just like you would remember her.I haven't seen her in about six mts. She looks just like she did in high school.I forgot to ask her if she remembered you,oh well another time.Yesterday I lost one of the large bass in my pond,drought is terrible on ponds here this year.When I found him he was blowing mud,I tried to reveive him but it was too late.Its a funny thing with all the fish I caught in my life and just watched them flop and die,how hard I tried to save the old boy.It just reminded me of how fine a line we all actually walk.I know your an old dawg and have seen many go on before us.I just thought I'd rattle your memory a little.Take care and Merry Christmas to the family.
