Does anyone know if the Hukk CE4000 TDR module has input voltage protection? I couldn't find any info on that on their website. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Doug, Right on, my point exactly.
Hey Peter, Still trying to figure out which school you are from. I'm hoping the old school. Thank you both for your input.

Doug, (pertaining to reel footage)
---------------------------------------------
Strand-- Most strand reels @ 5000'(6m or 1/4")are approx. 250(first wrap) 525(second wrap)
-----------------------------------------------coax (.500 on small reel)-- 125(first wrap) 275(second wrap) 450(third wrap)
-----------------------------------------------
coax (.750 on medium reel)-- 225(first wrap)
475(second wrap) 750 (third wrap)
----------------------------------------------
NOTE: mfr co's vary-- IF IN DOUBT CHECK IT OUT
----------------------------------------------
A print is a guideline, not a God( Do you know who strand map your project?) Always if you are cutting it close--WHEEL THE FOOTAGE
-----------------------------------------------
TIP: Take a strap & slide it down the side of the reel until you hit wood. Then bend it over & pull it out. Measure it againt your wraps & it will tell you how many wraps are left on your reel.

As andy said : go by reel footage (if available)

Definitely the 'old school' here, Dawgz! Hooked my first and scariest pole in Beaumont, TX. Complete rebuild. 1981. I ain't NEVER regretted one day of it since. I am still tuckin the pups in bed and wakin'em up in the morning. Good health to you all. I was only being a smartass with you earlier Sam. I don't disrespect nobody.

I was unaware of the TDR's full potential I guess. Next time you are not sure about that footage, DUUUHHHHHH says use a TDR. God now if that wouldn't look like a polished linesman! I hope he don't put that damn thing up to this here monitor...He probably knows right where I is.....gottagooooo
