Shane lemco tools work better after a week or two, when they're new they're too tight and do tend to wreak havoc on cable. Cablematic on the other hand tend to wreak havoc on cable they're whole life. As far as terminating tools try the viewsonics.

Brett it is 2 months old and just started doing this.I always stood by LEMCO I thought they was the best and still beleive that but when you are standing on hooks looking at your bucket in the front that is not a place for things to go wrong.I have always heard that about them but havent had them do that when they was new.I have a couple of CABLEMATICS one I use for trunk and I dont have any problems out of it I still stand by LEMCO maybe I just have a bad one.

We seem to have alot of problems with the lemco 500 tools. All the other sizes of Lemco work great. I didn't know if it was the cable or the tools. The die-electric seems to get caught on the center conductor and twists off the stinger. Sometimes they seem to work better than others. Good question Shane - I'd like to hear the response myself.

i keep seeing posts bitching about 'dish' networks. FYI:dish (mini-satellite) was created by the cable MSO's.

plus we all know that cable headends actually receive their signals via vcr tapes, and that primestar the original mini dish was not an alternative first offerd by cable systems down south as a way to receive cable programs in remote areas not accessed by cable. this was to combat the big dish's and vcr tape rentals but what the hell if you dont like something lets just bitch.

SPLICER LIFE I USE WD40 ON EVERY CORE EVEN AERIAL TO KEEP IT CLEAN BUT LIKE I SAID IT JUST STARTED TODAY BUT IN THE IT WAS WORN OUT TOOLS THAT DID IT BUT THIS ONE IS BROKEN IN.ONCE I TOLD MY PODNUH ABOUT IT HE SAID YOU HAVE THE NEW ONE DONT YOU I SAID YES HE SAID WHY IN THE HELL DID THEY CHANGE WHEN THE OLD ONES WORKED BETTER.LIKE YOU SAY JOE BLOW ONLY ON THE FLEMSY 500 ALL IT TAKES IS THE DIELECTRIC TO HIT IT AND THATS A WRAP.ILL GO BACK TO THE OLD WAY LIKE I WAS TAUGHT TO POP THE END OFF FIST BUT LEMCOS SAVE SO MUCH TIME.I LIKE TRUNK BETTER ANYWAY IT IS EASIERSURE IT IS BIGGER BUT SO IT IS EASIER.
