To ex-cableguy, MDU's are usually paid out by the unit, or number of apt. hookups. And to the others no two wrongs don't make a right. But revenge is sweet. Plus I don't think that by going into terrorist country's and attacking terrorist ways is wrong. If done correctly we can wipe out terrorism and show them how to live in the 21st century afterwards. Plus we get to have some good ol fashion target practice too.

TINA, I'M SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR RECENT LAYOFF. I, TOO, WAS IN THE CABLE BUSINESS FOR MANY YEARS. I GAVE EVERYTHING I HAD TO DO A DAMN GOOD JOB. BUT, APPARENTLY THAT DIDN'T SEEM TO MATTER. I AM LOOKING FOR WORK IN THE PHOENIX AREA AND WHAT AMAZES ME THE MOST IS, WITH ALL THE CABLE COMPANIES HERE, NOT ONE IS HIRING, YET IF YOU CALL ANY OF THEM, IT SEEMS ONLY THE "BUBBLEHEADS" ANSWER THE PHONE AND SAY "I DON'T KNOW" AND YOU JUST KNOW THEY ARE SITTING THERE TWIRLING THEIR HAIR AND CHEWING GUM..WHAT THE HELL HAS THIS INDUSTRY COME TO?? Can't understand lay offs, we are going balls to the walls up here,,, had a man get killed the day before yesterday, I guess the bucket hit power and he was getting something out of the truck, worked for Twin Star,, couple of the guys that work for us knew him well, 26, just got a home, got married with a baby, kiss your wife and children every morning, hold them tight, you never know if your coming home that night, we are all going to pitch in and help out her out any way we can, the minute you take this job for granted, some one pays for it,

Dawn, I've found the best way to find work is to go out in the field and find the field techs, splicers,and line men, talk to them, they have the inside scoop on the projects and 9 times out of 10 they will give you #s and names to side step "dim one" answering the phone,,,,,
