I hear ya, Doug. Do they have Northern Pike in Maine? Never caught one, but they say they put up a hell of a fight. We're going out to the lake tomorrow for Mother's Day. Did you ever submit that bid for the project in NC? If so, have you heard anything on it? Hey Terry, good one!! I am getting ready to fire up the grill and throw some of that Tuna on. Have had it marinading in Italian dressing all day. Gonna throw some lemon slices, butter, and lemon pepper on it and have at it. I hear Winn Caribe has a couple of crews jigging fiber over in Charlottsville. What's up with that? Y'all take care. Hope you hook up with something nice there, Doug. By the way, when does the Lobster festival kick off up there? I'd like to take a week off and head up. That would make for a nice vacation. Never been to Maine. Closest I've been was when the Mountain flew us up to New Hampshire for that manager's meeting. Let me know and I'll start making plans. Kathy has to fly to Cali. from June 15th to July 6th, but anytime after that would be cool. Later.

Get a load of this... I was scrolling through the Bar and ran across a posting for line crews in NC. The author called himself "Zeus" and when I e-mailed him, to find out where the job is, his isp, and web page is www.cablegod.com Hmmmmm Guys name is Donald Griener with Private Cable Communications. What are the odds that there are two seperate individuals who would call themselves CableGod?
It could be coincidence, but it just goes to show that trying to hide behind a screen name doesn't always work. Isn't that right Mark Connely, a.k.a. Splicerlife4me? Hell, when you and I had our differences I had someone e-mail me with your name and address. The several times I cruised by there, you were out of town, but I am sure that was the house because half a dozen guys off the Kentucky job verified it. Point is, you guys who like to talk shit and think your safe behind a screen name may end up with a big surprise someday.
