Snook like warmer water,so in the summer they tend to be a little deeper,in the winter they tend to head inland up into the rivers and canals.They hit on alot of different baits such as shrimp,( jumbos are best ) pin fish, bucktail jigs and best of all,they like finger mullet.The best thing I have found to use is what ever bait fish happens to be running that day.

hi everyone, just thought I'd put my 2 cents worth in about recreation.
Fishing is the greatest. I go EVERY chance I get. Lots of ponds around here and a few lakes.
Always a broad choice of good spots. You all go on and post about fishing as often as you like.
Love to hear your stories. Had a big one break my line this weekend. Set the hook and "snap"
brand new line too! Must have been a big cat.
There was one time a couple yrs. ago, a big one hit the hubbys line while he was down the bank, Before I could get to his pole, it was gone- in the lake!
we watched for a while and sure enough, here come the bobber popping back up here and there. I started casting my line twords it, finally catching his line with mine.
I reeled in until he could get his hand on his line, He jumped in the lake and followed the line until he got his pole back.
Climbing back onto the dock, he reeled in the line with the 10lb. cat still on!
wish I had a cam-corder that day! Good laugh for us. The pole was a Shimano, couldn't let the fish have it! Yes we
are fanatics when it comes to fishing. We always have a pole at hand...........
If you can't put down the cable, get out the pole!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And remember ..... Jesus got some of his closest followers from
a group of fishermen! Can't think of a more noble thing to do in my off time!
Going fishing is as good as prayer. Good place to have a ball and commune with nature.
If you don't fish, you are missing out! It is an art not all can master, (kinna like cable)

btw,,,to the red headed family, tried to call several times, couldn't catch u in.
Wanted to let the big boy know we couldn't go this past weekend.
late pay again. Let him know we will get him with us to the water soon! Terry will be in this afternoon.
Tab may be in Memorial weekend. Going out of town the 18th to see Eddie again.
