One other thing, you ever notice when some thing goes wrong on a project the supers run for cover like a bunch of little split tails and it's that poor hook out in the field that gets nailed for it?? there are very few supervisors that will take it the chin for their men as of late, ( and they can't understand why their men don't respect them ) well theres an ole trait that has never failed to cover your ass, GET IT IN WRITING, how many bug nuts?, which way do you want the horns facing on the panduit straps?, how long do you want those dog legs?, you want all the doors opening street side?,hey, think of one time that you've been screwed over on and why? because you didn't have a signed piece of paper to prove you were told to do it that way, it's a simple procedure that's been used for hundreds of years, and they had good reason back then, having to go back and change something that you know you were told to do is one thing, getting your f#*ckin head cut off is whole different ball game, another thing, look at his eyes when you ask for it in writing, I've always found that the one that hesitates has no idea what he is doing and was going to use you as a guinee pig,,,,,

Shane thanks for the info, Doug man you gotta chill Bro remember no matter how technical it gets It's Only Cable..... Have a good one man, I look forward to seeing how Adelphia's new subs turn out looking over the splicing specs I don't think it will go all that well. I know it's not a money maker for the sub that's for sure.

Yea anyone wanting to know about Knoxville job. Heads up,it's not what you think it is. Pay Sucks! Richard Brown; Has most of his family in the office working .They do not do their job. He is one of them that use to think he was A splicier but wasn't now that he is in management He has forgotten what it was like. Doe's not pay hour's . They take care of their inhouse before the Sub's. They don't care how good of a splicer you are. He's already said he has more splicer waiting to come to work. They don't no what there getting in to. Don't expect to make any money working for Mastex cause you won't. Alot of Cry babie's there. Good job if you to just make a pay check; nothing else. Good Luck If you go there to work. Won't be able to go elsewere if you need to. Because You won't have the fund's to. unless you save alot money from other Jobs you been on. Advice Stay away from Mastec Comcast and Knoxville. They will also shut you down for someone else's fuck ups at least twice a week.

Glad to see that someone appriciates what I'm going thru. Can't wait to get otta here.A few people got giged so they shut us down agin for the day. If it's not for one thing it's for another. At least once a week.Oh well- sometimes you gotta take the good w/the bad although it wont be fore long.Cause I'm outa here. You never know until you realy start working w/certain contracts. You know they promise you things but when you get there it's a whole diffrent story.Maybe we will meet some day,and a few drinks & talk about the good & bad--but I have to admit--I am a subcontractor & proud of my work & will continue until I can no longer feel that I can handle the job. Unlike some people I know--should have never started this buisn. or is time to quit.Talk to ya later.
