Cable77 - Have heard of Dot5, but will not say one way or the other. You know why? Because I have learned to take what you hear here with a grain of salt. It is best to work one, or work for one, before making sound judgement. Too many variables out there. Have seen a company do great on one job, and suck on the next. Know what I mean?

The only thing I miss about Fla is Blue Crabs, looked it up threw yahoo and, as we speak Teri is cleaning the last of them, 6 dozen over night for a C note, only lost 8, tell ya how I like to eat em, after their clean, put them in a bucket with 3 pounds of butter and garlic, put the old bay to them, put the top on and roll them around the floor and mix it all up, put the brown paper on the table and start munchin!!, haven't had them in 7 years, it's the simple things that make life worth living,

Gaffmatic - I'll tell you the "shit" involved with retainage... someone who can't float the payroll and is not in the position to Q.C. 10% of what their sub's are doing, to feel at ease that the work is being performed correctly! If you have to do it, so be it, but fuck retainage! Screw helping someone float their first prime, or any there after for that matter, because they sure as hell will not remember it when it counts! Well, maybe they will....No, chances are, they won't! Oh, by the way, you don't "get" retainage back, you take it, and I don't mean by being chicken shit and stealing it. I mean by forcing the hand. I have a family too, and by God, there is always a way of getting things done. Just have to have heart... you'll prevail.

Gary Vest! As far as Gaffmatics request for information on retainage from Bama-Tech, I offered him a phone # to get any info he so desires, yet, I've yet to here from him. Who ever he is!(Dennis?)The fact remains that when a sub quits and leaves no forwarding address and the (prime) sub finishes the job, what do you do? Also, it's up to the sub to submit an invoice for retainage due. I again, give Gaffmatic the chance to call me at214-###-#### for info on the Premier retainage. It's not always the employer that is at fault. Have a nice day!!!
