Here is the information the industry has waited for.I met today with Pam Drum,of Carteret Community College.I gave her my proposal. It included,Engineering,Design,Drafting,Cad,
permitting, walkout,Construction,Areial,Underground,Fiber.Fusion splicing,Coax splicing,Balance,Pole climbing,Ladder handling,Sweep cert.CLI.If you can name it in cable its in there.I asked for any State,Federal, or any other assistance they could provide. This school will be classroom,as well as hands on training, lots of it.You will do the same things in this school as you would on the job,It is designed with the contractor in mind.If you are trained as a contractor, then you can make your own choice, contractor or inhouse. If you make the grade,Guarenteed job placement. This rest in her hands now,she has to present it to the Board of Directors, for final approval. Some might say whats "WHITFIELD" getting out of this? Not one thin DIME,I'll just be the founder of the program.I need everyone to help make this a success.Call the college tell them to please get a message to Pam Drum, leave your name, tell her how "BAD" the Industry needs these courses. Why not go to School in a beach town. The college itself is located on BEAUTIFUL BOGUE SOUND. The cost of living here is very reasonable. The college #is252-###-####-0 ,please help.

IF you would to contact the SKA their # is904-###-####) Well I guess you see how busy WHITFIELD has been. Why? This all started about fifteen pages back, with one mans dream.I have had a large Prime make me a very good offer,to back this new Co. and give us our first project, but he wants me to prove the people will come to work for ths new co. They are in the process of putting a package together for us.If they are real and not Blowing Smoke,I'll know next week.I will not give him copies of my E-mail,as I promised I would give anyone that information, especially as some of you in my e-mail already work for his present Co.So look for my postings next week.If your not in my e-mail,nows the time(BigDuck69@*****.com).The Dream is coming true.I would like to thank everybody for their support. It gave me the drive to complete this task.I will now close with a few words."If time were to stand still for only a moment, this world could end and in the same second a new world could begin" "Whitfield" When you wonder can you trust me .Let me take you back to a time of trust,Now I lay me,Down to sleep,I pray the Lord,My soul to"KEEP" until the next time,be safe and Godspeed in all that you do.

It is now a new day but it was once the last day.The last day in the life of a cable dog .Gone but not forgotten.I can still see you running at recess brother,Its your brother's first wife's birthday, the one your mother could never celebrate after you were gone.Life is never the same after death.

I would like to ask a favor of all supervisors, managers, and anyone else having anything to do with the decisions that are pertinent to making a job happen. PLEASE consider how your decisions are going to affect others. There are many variables that make up a successful project. If one or two of these variables are not followed through with, or the ball dropped, it can affect those that are depending on the work for their income, which in turn affects them supporting their families. I know many system employees that are going to get paid regardless, so they tend to not look out for their fellow man and think of how they are affecting them. There are many of those individuals that are jealous of what a contractor makes, but they fail to witness the down time, insurance costs, truck repairs, taxes, motel rooms, gas, etc... To those I say grow some balls and let go of your security blanket and take a taste of the apple. You'll find it is not as glamorous, or even lucrative as you feel it may be. Hell, just the lifestyle of having to gypsy all over the freaking place and be away from your family is worth every penny paid to a contractor. Anyway, the point is to please be considerate of how your decisions are going to affect others. It truly is a snow ball effect that many don't realize. If you are getting paid to do a job, then do it. It is easy to get sidetracked and loose your focus. The success of any project is dependendant on the focus of those in charge of making it happen. Remember, what comes around goes around. Someday you may be the one getting screwed because Joe Blow didn't give a shit, or couldn't focus.

Hey Whitfield - The cable yellow pages used to be about the only effective way to hunt down the work. This site cuts down the leg work and long distance charges of having to call and come up empty. Can't wait for the tournament. There's nothing like the sound of that reel sizzling when them s.o.b.'s nail that hook. They say a king hits at approximately 60 miles an hour. I know I had a blast with them in the Gulf. Good eating too. How much is this going to cost per person? Sounds like you've been doing your homework on it. Your definitely a man on a mission right now, eh? Still curious as to the outcome of it. How close are you getting? Would you say your within 6 months of rolling your first truck?
