Come on, Whitfield. We've all been chasing rainbows all our career. Blow sunshine up your own ass.....not ours.

Hey Whitfield, hats off to you and what your trying to do.
Anyone that even tries to make this industry better should be proud wether
it works out or not.A word of advice though. If you want to treat people right,
stop growing short of the stock exchange. They figured out a long time ago that if there
is good money in being fair, there is better money in screwing the little guy over.Remember
the only things scolling across the ticker are letters and #'s,not the faces of unemployed Americans
and their hungry children. If they could figure out how to get completed plant built by orphans and old women
shipped here from China or Mexico like they have with all the components we would all be on the corner.
Now if people really wanted to change things, they would have to drive all the back-stabbing,cheating,ass-kissing,
credit-stealing,clean-up leaving, composite pricing, don't pay the last check, blame it on whoever isn't there,half-ass,"God's gift to cable",
if I can kick your ass I'm better than you,I'll run you people like we did in the corp.,gravy sucking pig,promise-promise,if you do this for me,I'll keep you busy till somebody cheaper comes along,
Bubba and Skeeter, drunk on the job, take the money and run bastards out and off of every project we find them on. Make them stay in their house for fear of being kicked or spit on
until they change their ways or leave the industry.I mean in the MSO's and the contracting co.'s.THAT would change things. If evey good dawg could get one jackal sent yelping back into the den.WOW
what a beautiful world this would be.....

Is this Charlie Parvin? If so, I like to catch them more than anything, but King Mackerel is damn good to eat when grilled with some lemon, garlic, tons of butter... Where are you at these days? I hope the people that need to read that, read it. Guess I am a little more in tune now that I am back in the field. No roller coaster with as many ups and downs as cable contracting! Tell Daniel and Glen I said hey. Later.

Forgot to ask. Does anyone know where a man can buy
a set of "snap-on" 90-blocks.I used 'em in Indy and Memphylis
and now there are few things I hate to be stuck with more than a lousy
pole mount.Anybody who doesn't know what I'm talking about has missed out
on one of the best cable tools you are likely to come across. Can anyone help?

For those of you who thought my warnings about Protel were frivolous, just read some of the responses in the bar, under "contract jobs" That is a case in point to what I was saying earlier about thinking of how you are effecting people by the decisions you make. I witnessed some pretty raw shit with them, and my biggest mistake was not living by one of my own rules, and that is if your not happy somewhere, don't piss and whine, just get over it and find somewhere else to go. I did some whining to Mike Keyser, hoping he would correct it, when I should of just kept my mouth shut, found something else, and put in my resignation. Live and learn. Bottom line is: Protel, live by what you promise people and think of how you may be affecting them, and their families who are innocent bystanders in all this, and not just of your own desire to fill those pockets to the brim. Having me "get rid" of three decent individuals the way you did is callous as hell. You say, "Nothing personal, just business" Well it may not be personal to you, but it damn sure was to those three families that had to relocate back to where they came from, after having to break there leases. There are ways of treating people decent and doing business at the same time. This shit happens all the time, that is why I am posting this, in hopes that it may help others. Give them something to think about as they plod along in this business.

kings are fun to catch Gary but try Dolphin, they are jumpers and the meat almost tastes like steak, Cobia is also very good, but if you really want something to drag you around the boat for a while hook into a Wahoo!!, they don't call them that for nothing, I worked on the deep sea boats out of Canaveral for a couple months, Wahoo's are the ticket for a good battle, the meat is white and tasty, sails and swords are fun too but go out and look for patches of sea weed, and troll past them, hold on tight, this is where the dolphin hang, you can pick up a Wahoo now and then too, or troll for bait and when you start picking them up, float with them and float your baited hooks into the school, (don't use any weight)Boom Boom!!
