I hope that everyone is surviving the lean winter months but we all know this happens every year.
P.S. The east coast is wet and cold this time of year and the work isn't as plentiful as everyone seems to think... But it won't be long before everyone will want us and we will all have to turn down work because there will not be enough hours in the day...
Peace/out.

The winter is almost over, I hope everyone who depends on the weather to make a living, takes the time this spring and summer to pepare for next winter. Remember if you do U/G construction try to get a splicer or two and one good mdu tech, and you can shift from u/g to mdu when the weather is bad. Its worth a try. Maybe next winter may be a little better.
best of luck www.cablecontracting.com

Reward for tools stolen in Tucson, AZ! Taken night of 2-1-01 from a Jack in the box parking lot. Everything for splicing, Dewalt 18V drill, sawzall and light, Cablmatic and Lemco coring tools, Klien and Craftsman pro hand tools, Tool chest with a bunch of other stuff I can't remember right now. All tools were inscribed with "VAS" and the power tools had my SSN#. Thank God they did not get my meters! I know I may as well win the lottery as get them back so any one know the quickest way to get those coring tools, crimpers, Y-190's, and other stuff replaced? As if things aren't bad enough...Ten minutes to eat and my life is F^$&#D. If you can help with any info at all please mail me at precision_cable@*****.com or call301-###-####. Thank you for your time.

good morning to all you cable dogs out there, yes work is a little slim this time of year, and I want to thank all of you that responded to my posting concerning work for six crews, I don't know about the rest of the country, but our biggest problem seems to be the lack of fiber, rob Peter to pay Paul, and of course a lot BOM's don't come in all at once, and then come in wrong, but hey, that's life and cable TV, hopefully things will pick up though, got to go, work safe, and make a bunch of money
