XMOD,IF YA CAN'T BRAID A ROPE JUST SAY SO!!BY THE WAY WHAT CAN YOU DO? BY THE WAY,WHAT KIND OF LINE DO YOU SPLICE? CAN YOU MAKE UP A STRAND STRAIGHT SPLICE,OR DO YOU SIT ON THE POLE FOR 30 MINUTES FIDDLE FUCKIN AROUND WITH IT ,AND STILL LEAVE A COUPLE STRANDS STICKING OUT. OR MAYBE YOU CAN'T DO ONE AT ALL.TELL ME I'M JUST FUCKING COURIOUS!!

Wynn,I haven't spliced any cable for several years
now...I'm talking about splicing a snap ring,
swivel, clevice, etc. to a pull rope or hand line. Years ago
I asked one of the guys on my crew if they knew how to "braid"
an eye into a rope...they had fun with that for weeks! That's when
I started calling it "splicing a line"..just ask any ol' navy guy!
Hope that settles some of this...and give em' hell..this is our own
little feud, Beeeeotch!

Hey Jim Wynn,you reminde me of my of my first formen I ever had the pleasure of working with.He asked me if i knew the differance between a bug and weaver.Of course I said yes.He says,sure you do you dumb grunt.Then he threw one at me,wich one I dont know.At that moment when it wizzed by my head I realised,at 90 miles an hour there is no differance.
