Change the fricken channel already guys. All you "Old Dogs" should be addressing safety among your crews and safe practices. Not how the west was won.I remember the old days and they werent pretty.Times have changed, and so have the people.

Hey Rich, I don't know the other two, but Ed Hardt is in Sandy, Oregon running a small retro job for CSS. The MSO is Charter. He isn't on line, but E-mail me and I will see that he gets it. He also has Scott Hobson over there. Good running and pretty good money. If you know John Hedl, he's with me over in Tillamook County Oregon then to Newport, Oregon starting in July.

Thanks Tina, last yearI was working in Jacksonville hanging cable.I heard a bunch of sirens in the distance.I did'nt think much of it as they passed, until I saw my supervisors truck blow by behind them.Turns out the guy in the next Node over had a primary sag down and pop him on the shoulder. There were 4 char marks on the ground where the power passed through the tires to make ground. The inside of the basket was totaly black from the exit out of his back. The guy lived if you can believe that.16 years in cable and as safe as anyone,he almost died. That realy hits home because I had that node in my hand that morning but the supervisor took it back and handed me another set of maps, the next node over.
