You can try Kennedy, they are the prime for Insight in Belvidere. They are getting all the cable and power supplies hung, splicing should start real soon.

Belvidere is about 65 miles west of Chicago. From what I see, looks like mostly roadside aerial, and some good country running also, but I've seen the new build cable already getting spliced, I think the in-house guys are taking all the country gravy.

As of today Kennedy Networking only has in house supervisors and per Roger he wants to keep it that way.The line crews are subs.I do know that 2 late model splicing trucks were bought today so somebody will be gettin those next week or so....

from what i've seen the past couple days, the cement is back to its intended purpose as it should be. time will tell tho. if the board goes too slow for anyone just write a joke! chances are you'll get 3 more jokes in replies!

New Orleans, summer 1987. The Big Easy, Cresent City.
It was hot, humid too. Had to chew the air before I could inhale it. Most days before 8 a.m., full sweat and this was just walking from the hotel room to the truck. Drop buries. Line Ward with bore attachements. Bad town to be in for a drunk whose wife wants a divorce. Bars open 24/7, only close long enough to clean the floors and if business is good, they don't even close for that! Never seen anything like it and actually hope not to again.
Little Viet Namese village east of town, suckers have friggin' rice paddies in their lawns! The zips walk around in Black pajamas and funnel hats. 90 degree plus temperature, surprised they didn't just evaporate from the heat! Can't speak a lick of english but sure as hell needed to have cable t.v.! Nothin like runnin' the Line Ward through their paddies, I wonder if the tracks reminded them of the tanks that ravaged their homeland? Hey! American Joe? You have chocolate bar?? Oh well, crack open another 10 oz. can of bud, that's right, 10 oz. cans. Do the math, you buy a six pack and you're short a beer. Charlie got cable today, tomorrow they'll sink his sampan in the Gulf while he's trying to make a living shrimping..New Orleans, 1987.
