You know I don't know if we were all just young and dumb, bunch of young kids makin 15 a week, (spending 16) but Dallas was one hell of a town, didn't seem to mind the easements in Oak Cliff or the power violations in Irving, (remember when Shoemaker got hit,) but I take my hat off to anyone trying to tackle that town these days,, heard nothing but hard times coming out of that town ever since, good luck to anyone working it.

Salem Lake, Doug. Real scenic and decent fishing too. They have hybrid stipers that kick ass. It's pretty comical watching the grandson catch fish. Makes for some good videos. He is sprung big time. Hey Terry, that pretty much sums up the kind of bullshit that Protel, now Mastec, was pulling that made me not want to continue with them. Say and do anything to get people in and then you find the situation is completely different from what they told you on the phone. Hell they told me we were to be the prime in Corpus Christi and I get there and find we are only a splicing sub for TWCC. Then they didn't even have any splicers. They are a fucking joke. I guess if your from there and that's all there is, you can deal with it, but for people like yourself, it is a real pisser to get deceived like that. Hope things pick up soon. Tell Charlie to give me a call. I have a line on some splicing in Kentucky if he is interested. I am heading up there tomorrow and should know, by Tuesday, whether it is a good one or not. Later.

Upgrade in Orlando, the odds are good BUT the goods are odd......thunderstorms in the afternoon with just enough sun before 5:00 p.m. gets the mushrooms pushin' up from the cowpies, screw MillerTime when ya got natures psyhcodelics growin' just over the barbed wire on Terry Cattle Co. property, just don't get caught they're a bunch of mormons that run it and have enough land to bury yer ass that you'd never be found! Good morning all,Spliceman the prices he quoted me were 27 for NB and 30 for retro,in my book,it would take more than that with those spans.Clark say you were down at dads,let me tell you about his dads campground,well I won't go into great detail,I just say its a little piece of heaven, located on beautiful Wards Creek,the kind of place people that can. Paint a picture of.I'll bet you, can see some killer sun sets there.
The family and I went to Surf City to a surfing contest yesterday,my 16,and 12yr.old both competed,they had good waves and the was alot of scenery,there ,if you know what I mean.The beach is always a good time.I stopped off in Sneads Ferry,to see a friend of mine,an underground contractor,It was nice to see someone this business doing good.He gave me a card to a co that is doing all Charters fiber,I'm going to call the Pres.on Monday,they are doing some running in this State that you would give your left ... for,hope I can hook in with them.He also told me his brother had died two months ago,God rest his soul,47 or49 years old,died sitting up from sleep apanea,asfixication."BIG JOE BROWN" please get yours fixed before you end up that way,hind site is always20/20 I don't care to lose a good friend like that,so please get yours fixed.Gary,Doug its about time for that fishing trip,lets make some concrete plans.Gary I doubt if we could get Mikey to go, he would be too afraid we would use him for cut bait or chum,I hate to be the one to tell him ,we wouldn't be able to use him for that because fish don't eat putred shit.LOL I guess I,ve ran my mouth enough for now got to get out in the shop and repair a piece of junk console,and the bulid my brother a deer stand for his truck,what a way to spend a Sunday,but what the heck,yesterday was one of the best days off I've had in a while.Until next time: Hope everybody has a great day See Ya "WHITFIELD"

Its that time again,anothre Monday a new week.Some people love Fridays,I like Mondays.Hey Mark,how is life treating you.This is the week I start seriously looking work.I going to finish up these couple of boats,and find some work.I was talking with a good friend of mine,an old dawg,we were disscussing the current work situation,through out the states,being almost like it was in 1990 or91 when the bottom fell out."OH WELL SUCH IS LIFE" When "WHITFIELD" gets done beating the bushes this week then I will tell you whats going on,right now I don't have that answer.At least its Hurricane season again,I don't wish havac on anyone but if we could get about three ANDREWS,or HUGOS,to tear this country a new asshole,we wouldn't have any work shortage.I live at the ocean,and I worked both of those bad boys,let me tell you if you think you are safe to stay in the path of a cat 4 or 5,think again.I will drive hundreds of miles to get out of their path.I think this year will be interesting,the US was lucky last year,Lets just say that old dawg WHITFIELD is making a prediction,I'm predicting a 4or5 to make landfall in the US.The last time that my home town,was hit by one of those was in 1954 when HAZEL came here.She cut a new inlet,slues,and damn near destroyed everthing.The only reason I look forward to one of these is I'll use a little story,that my wife brought to my attention the other day.My wife was on the beach on Emerald Isle .There was an elderly man,surf fishing down by Bouge Inlet,and one of the property owners,came up to the old man and told him he could not fish there it was his property,he was rude to the old man and the old man moved down the beach.When my wife came home and told me the story,hell flew in me,I said that f...en cock s......Who the hell does he think he is he doesn't own the ocean.I'm going down ther to fish,let him come tell me to move.He'll just be glad to be drawing breath on this earth when I get done with him.My wife talked me out of doing so and she elected to call the Emerald Isle Police Dept.and they went by the home owners house and informed him what the law was,lucky for him.I apologise to everybody for my readneck ways,but its just how I grew up,Sometimes it takes alot of self control not to head someone like a shrimp,as I have gotten older its gotten easier to control my temper,about the only things that really set me on fire is somebody mistreating a child or an old person.If I'm around and I see it I'll be in your face it don't matter who you are,ask JASON BARLEY about the night the man reached across the table to slap his son in the face.We were in a waffle house in Tuscon Arizonia.I'll put it this way,Im glad Jason was there to keep me calm.we were finished eating and Jason got me to go outside,I then walked up to the window outside where this family sat pointed to the dad and slapped the shit out of my face and dared him to come outside,He wouldn,t,I guess lucky for me,I didn't need to get locked up any way.Don't think I am a fly off the handle violent person,I'm not,I am just not the kind of person that stands by to watch someone get abused.I've always believed if you can dish it out you damn well better be able to take it.Oh well time to get the kids up for school,we'll talk to you later.Hope everbody has a great day and makes big$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ See Ya "WHITFIELD"
