Pete just do it, if you have the reputation and the drive you'll be fine. Trust me it's nice to be in charge of yourself and your pay.

Hey GUYS IN-HOUSE, my hat goes off to ya in every way! Did it for 4 years and agree with you's on the (SECURITY BLANKET). It was nice while it was there for me but I just had to go out on my own from listeneing to all the other Older Dawgs (who've been around a long time) and all the money they made subbing. They did forget to mention all the "LOSSES" involved with the business though. SOme were mentioned but alot of'em weren't (that I am finding out the HARD WAY) LOL. But not to be discouraged,...I am not one to let being taken advantage of taken lightely! If you are ever cheated out of any kind of money (retainage, last weeks pay, etc....) I encourage lyou to do what I did,....I paid 125 dollars to this law firm on the internet that hires themselves out informationally to completely fill out, make ME understand my rights of this form, and show me the legalities involved with filing "mechanics lien". No paperwork needed, just an amount owed to yourself or Company, by whomever owes you. And trust me they are GOOOOD!!!! Mechanics liens HURT the person or Company's CREDIT, that they are filed on. YEAH!! Chris,.....yours is on the way there to your home address I obtained from those around your silly self. And don't worry---BE HAPPY!!!! In-house guys keep on doing what you do best and that's MAKING MONEY!! Getting into Contracting ask those already in it for the full scoop. Be good later days--Rog

Hey there Brett, reading your entries on the cement-----I agree with on the subbing, thats why I got out of in-house. Money is better and you finally have a LIFE and TIME to spend with loved ones. Couldn't agree with ya more!
