cool mark! i (CableLand Ry) thankyou for your vote! yes, some bad ass'd pics there, much better than mine/ours. but i appreciate your show of loyalty and support and hope others can/will follow your example! that said, i have to agree with the 'johnnie-come-lately' statement. i also pretty much have to agree that these 'personal' attacks are getting to be more monotonous(?) than geno's postings. true or not, its not called for in here. your opinions have been made. no re-itterations are needed, so drop it. this is for buisness/fun...not personal vendettas. its obvious the vast majority of cement users want to 'all get along' and it sucks when you get 1 (or 2) wannabe computer bad-ass's that take up this valuable space because their idiots. let it go, get lives, live and let live, and any other cliche' you might think of. the 'survivor' idea is an awesome one at that! at least then everyone would HAVE to work together and get along or be booted! on a cheerier note, seeing as how CableLand has 1 month for the photo-contest, it has been decided that its own contest will be held. entries begin immediately, and contest ends april 16th, 2001. this contest is for the logo that will appear on all CableLand locomotives (motive power) and rolling stock (box/flat/tanker etc...cars). the logo needs to incorporate 1. train, or train and tracks, or just tracks 2. cable tv, ie...guy on hooks on a stick, or pole line, man in bucket, something that is recognizable a being cable (at least recognizable by us! lol!), and 3. the railway's name 'CableLand Railway' or 'CableLand Ry' MUST be included in the design. the railways signature, 'Bringing Tele-Communications to the Rail Road Industry' is NOT necessary to be included in the design, but is an option if so desired. 1st PRIZE: $50.00, there are NO OTHER PRIZES offered, or implied. send all entries/questions to: SplicerLife1@*****.com subject heading 'Logo Contest'. thankyou in advance for your participation.

I worked with Gary down in NC for about 2 months,I was sent down to NC to evaluate and fix these projects, and Gary's job was the ONLY job that was going right, never once did I see him with a buzz on or off the job, Gary was there at 5 every morning and not only was he running the job (3 phase retro with green beans) but he was also out in the field doing what ever it took to get the job done, splicing, turn on, trouble shooting and so on, it was a shit system, old FD cable, you had to SS bug to bug on just about every pole, Gary is one of the few people that I have met in this industry that has the intelligence to walk into a meeting full of stuffed shirts and acomplish what ever it takes to keep his job on track, and then jump into a bucket truck and work with his men, I've been in this business for 21 years and believe me there are few men like that out there, we are living in the world of wana bee's, Gary isn't one of them, and your right Gary, you probably hurt this poor fucks feelings on some job in the past, and knowing you he deserved it, work with ya any time bro, I'll be back down one of these days, there's nothing worse than slander,CML is a classic example of it, post your name and let us all take a look at you, don't come sniffing around any of my projects, a lot of old school hooks around here that play by the old rules,,,

good morning everyone. sorry to see there is so much arguing going on right now. why doesn't the person that has the first problem leave his or her # so the one or ones he or she has a problem with can call them and set up a meeting privately and that way it will not involve everyone else and cause people to have to take sides. i hope you guys can get thus resolved before you acciddently end up working on a job together and come to blows on the job site. that would not do either of you or us any good. good luck and please remember that we are all suspose to be adults here so lets act like it. sorry just had to say something about it my daughter washere with me and asked me if that is the way we people in cable are. by the way, i am still trying to get in touch with eddie hardt. if any of you work with him or knows someone that does please have them tell him to call me even if its collect. thank you all. god bless us all.cowboy bob (bob foltz)

I wouldn't worry about Tom Perez heard he was on the run for a little bit of side money making down in Allentown, just remember who decided to give him three chances and not fire him the first two times he lied and falsified documentation.
