And as far as staying at David and Cheryl's? Who wouldn't??? Why pay for a motel when me and my wife can stay at the "MANSION?" You probably could have too if only you would have asked,...besides I did for another reason also,...To see if I was even going to stay in Va. Beach, after hearing all the hard luck everyone was having I didn't want to go out and get a CONDO and be stuck with it for a year if I didn't like it here,..... I know you must have been 'wronged by the Double D, and am not trying to take up for him' but must you carry your anger out onto another splicer?? Like me?? IF so, WHY??? anyways HOBO I am not trying to get into a pissing contest with ya, 'cause I know alot of people have been 'wronged' by DD, fromn what I read on the Cement, nor am I taking up for him in the least. David knows the things he has done to others and that it his business, MY business with David is - if ya don't have any work here let me know so I can go elsewheres and find it. Did you know that Norfolk has been cut to .22 cents a ft. for contractors and .11 cents a foot in house?? Makes me glad to be my own, now. He hasn't told ME yet about the price deductions and makes me wonder why,....hmmmmm. I wouldn't work in NOrfolk long at .22 anyways, maybe a couple of weeks 'til I find something else, elsewheres,...Later, HOBO

What is going on with the Horizontal Directional Drilling businesses in Florida. Seems as if there is no work out there at all. Anyone that can shed some light on this will be apppreciated.

A new day is dawning,you ever notice how it is always darkest before the dawn.Today Thursday,Feburary 22'nd is Dale Earnhardt's funeral.(GOD REST HIS SOUL).I talked to a friend of mine on Monday this week,he said,they had already got tickets to the race,this weekend,he said even though he didn't pull for Dale,his friends ,that did ,had asked his family to wear black,he said they were going too.Wouldn,t that be wild if everbody did.Gone but not forgotten. Hey Roger,Ho Bo ,I'm headed "WEST" ,here in a couple of weeks,going back to that big money.I'd rather make per week what it takes a month to make here in the land of CHUMP CHANGE!!I can deal with the heat an adverse conditions.22,11,cents a foot.Thats how it is when you sub from a sub,I've heard him say the prime takes 48% off the top for almost nothing!! To everbody in this business,You all rememeber,when I said don't put all your eggs in one baskett.If you had another trade,you wouldn't have to work for the piddly money these CONTRACTORS are paying.What will be funny to me ,is when it all bust loose again,and everbody pulls out of there jobs to go to the big money,WHERE the "HELL" do you people think you will find people to work at those prices.You will surely go out of business.Let me tell you,I've been in this business 23yrs.now what goes around comes around.I have seen them come, and seen them "GO" I mean big Co.s not just some fly by the seat of there pants Co.s.You do enough people people wrong in this business "YOUR,BURNT TOAST" !! Kids are in school,As was driving,I thought of all of the misspellings and typo's,on here I thought back to talking with one of the office men that read here.He told me ,why not type it on microsoft word, spell check it, and encript it on here.My tweleve year old ,had told me to do the same thing the night before.Oh well,all I have say is to be a real Cable Dog you don't have to be able to spell,Its something in your Blood,you live, breath,eat and #2 CABLE.If your a DOG ,you know it, "DON'T" anybody have to tell you,cause when somebody tries to tell you different,thats when they find out what a LINE DOG "IS"!!! HOPE EVERYBODY HAS A GREAT DAYMAKES BIG DOLLARS,and GOD'S SPEED TO ALL.See Ya "WHITFIELD"

GW check out the Dragon naturally speaking program, ( Staples ) put on a head set and start talking, takes a bit to train the program to your speech paterns but once you get the hang of it, well you'll never type another mis spelled word again, hell, you'll never type again.
