Very true Joe, I just went threw it 2 weeks ago, the only thing that saved me is that I had them put it in writing and sign it, now they have 40 hours of CP to deal with.

dont know if anyone wants to try to actually chat using cabl.com chat but i havent found anyone who has gotten it to work either. i found a way and will write the instructions. i will be on tonite saturday june 3rd 2000, @ 6:00 p.m. eastern. if enough guys join in then we can have some actual, real cable talk and maybe make a friend or two.
1. go to www.geocities.com/southbeach/surf/7599/irc.html
2. the 1st screen that pops-up click 'ok'.
3. ditto for 2nd screen.
4. on the 3rd screen, it asks for chat server. type in IRC.CABL.COM then click 'ok'.
5. at the 4th screen, leave the port number 6667 and click 'ok'.
6. the 5th screen, DELETE roll-doggz and type CABL then click 'ok'.
7. last screen leave blank and click 'ok'.
thats it! shouldnt take you more than 45 seconds to do those 7 steps. personally i think it would be interesting to see how it goes. by total accident the other night i talked to someone called "cableguy1997" in wyoming. it does work and is pretty cool. I WILL BE ON SATURDAY JUNE 3RD 2000, @ 6:00 P.M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME. TRY IT!

"HELP"- Its hard to say what "the best" is , it is all made by the same three seven year old chinese girls making thirty cents a month! I like Magnavox myself as a splicer.A sweeper might prefer another.
