Its time I put my imput in on these non paying sons of bitches,If you did the work ,and billed it properly,you should be paid!!!If you have problems getting your check , find out who the S.O.B. is between you and your check and cut his BALLS off!! I HAVE BEEN IN CABLE SINCE1995 I HAVE MOVED UP THE LADDER PRETTY FAR BUT I HAVE NEVER USED THE WORD "CABLE DOG" WHAT DOES THIS MEEN?I HAVEHEARD OF IT AND I SEE IT ALOT ON CABL.COM. I HOPE I DONT OFFEND ANYONE FOR ASKING SUCH A STUPID QUESTION BUT SOME PEOPLE LIKE ME DONT REALY USE THIS WORD. Damn,I should already have my ass in bed ,but just couldn,t stand it, had to check the bar one last time to see if anyone had slung shit my way.To address the term cable dog,it means alot of different things to alot of people,to me ,Its what is in your HEART,its if you live and breath CABLE,its what your life revolves around,"CABLE,CABLE,CABLE"my first born son was concieved in a pup tent ,inside what use to be the installers room,in the wharehouse,where my wife and I stayed in Fairfax Va. working for American Spliceco,in the early 80's when we first got to D.C.,Cable dogs are a die hard breed of man or woman,that are about getting the job done,aginst all odds.When you get injured you keep on getting it,for example,when I was in Bermuda about 8yrs ago,I cut my thumb to the bone,I didn't even come off the pole till I finished the location,I called down to my grunt,had him throw me up the peroxide,I washed it out,then I superglued it shut,taped it up with a napkin,and electrical tape and kept right on working,needless to say the Bermudian's we astounded.At least it won me their respect.I've always carried the glue since I started cable in 79,thats the way I learned it. If you get a slice cut on the job clean it,squeeze it together,wipe off the blood,and run a bead down the top of it.It will seal it shut,Sure it burns like hell for about five minutes,but,you can keep on keeping on.Hope you can understand what a cable dog is to me.See Ya down the road some where "WHITFIELD"

cabledawgs are in the truest sense,professionals.to wit,we agree on a price for a job performed to specs agreed upon.Then we perform that task.In return we expect payment in a manner agreed upon.The fact that weve been performing this task for many many miles and many many years is what warrants us respect and the title cabledawgs!!!!
