Jeff Bova. Well said. Unfortunatly, character is not what draws respect nowadays. Bullshit and bucks is what gets the work. Hooks with poletime are supervisors now. Where are the hard working young guys that we need to keep this industry going?

Hey John Allen,What ever happened to earning respect? Secondly, the young guys are standing in line at H.R. whining because the air conditioning in the new buckets aint cold enough, a 40 hour week is cutting into their party time and the old grey headed guy at the end of the hall(me)asked them to tightened an amp lid properly. lol

Way to go RogNet, John Allen, Jeff Bova...let this cry-baby cry, when he/she has to hit twenty-thirty sticks a day to make a living for the importance at home. There are still a few of us us who know the importance of strapping on a set of hooks to get the job done, and doing it right the first time. Nothing pisses me off more than having to hit a pole for free. Do it right the first time, and there will be no bitches about clean-up or pay being with-held.That was for anyone interested. Averill, if you feel you are above our industry and line of work, get out. We don't give a rat's ass what you think. SplicerLife 4me...It is spelt(check that out in the dictionary)eloquent. You are the man. As for the old man at the end of the hall.....I have been changing out Amp housings due to under-tightening. Imagine that. All you men have a good one, and a safe one.

Mr. GAFFMATIC,
I like your attitude and that of your fellow Lineman.I laugh at those who consider themselves Lineman and then come crying about thier sore pussys when there is a pole that there bucket truck can't reach. You guys should be respected as true Lineman, (wish I could find more like your type).Anyway, good luck in your endeavor's and y'all be careful.
