I was coming out of a bar one night with my uncle and I looked over and this guy had his girlfriend/wife up against the wall and he was hitting her, well I pointed it out to my uncle Steve and all he said was "leave it alone Doug", well being young and dumb I strutted right over there and to make a long story short, I had this person on the ground and was about to finish him when the fat lipped girlfreind/wife jumped on my back and almost took my right eye out, well I shook her off and walked over to the truck where my uncle had been taking it all in (he was laughing by now) and when I started to explain the whole thing he said, "see, it's a no win situation" I'll never forget that, and I'm not saying I would stand there and watch an abuse but I have learned to stay clear of domestics,,,,, it's a no win situation.

Why do you keep forgetting what you told me? Remember your exact words Joe were "Laurie you need to get ya'lls shit and go now!" Are you referring to the car that got repo'd the day before you found Donna? The truck you are talking about had a $1200 over due balance and the bank was looking for it to repo it also. Lastly, are you referring to the house that my brother is living in? You know the house that when you moved us to Houston he moved in with the understanding that he was buying it and we could not move back in once he moved in. It is amazing how selective your memory is Joe. Do you remember driving around Houston frantically trying to find a car to send us away in because you were tired of me begging you not to end our marriage?

Let's think about it rationally Joe, please. I did not want a divorce you did. I went back to Houston to try to save my marriage, but you would not even give me a chance. I think you gave me all of about 15 minutes. The only reason I left is because you told me to repeatedly. I had to beg you to let us stay for the extra day so my parents could get to us. I actually contiplated(sp?) having my parents rent a hotel room for us because you were so ready for us to leave. Why else would I voluntarily leave a marriage I was trying desperately and shamefully to hold on to?

Really can't we focus on issues that effect the industry? Please cut the petty crap and lets try and focus on making this a industry and it's people a better place for all. OK go ahead and take your shots at my comments. And Doug I think your comments and input are good....we need more technicial input like that on this site and not swampkidsx bullcrap. Most of these cable wanna-be's have never really seen the entire cable picture. There "is" more to cable television and it's related products than a bucket truck.

Anyone ever hear of Jerry Whitfield? He's been calling me everday and the word is he's been blackballed. For every 1 good comment I get 100 bad ones. Everything from he's a thief to a drug dealer and a big time trouble maker. The PM say's that Crown will fire everyone on the project if Whitfield is working. What's this shit about and who is this guy?
