Cablecutter I hope you know that you require a 9580 SST from Trilithic to get this unit to work. This unit SSR is only good for return system (5-40 MHz) and not the forward system (50-750 MHZ).

Good one, Doug. I ended up not going. The guy met me down here in NC. Turned it down. Couldn't work for 50k a year. That budget might have fit five years ago, but no way could I make it work now. Things opened up again where we are at in Kentucky, so looks good till the end of the year anyway. Average spans 400' plus, so I am in heaven right now. Cut an amp and the feeder off it, yesterday morning, and it was 3300' for 6 locations! Had ut cut by 10:30a.m. Killer, huh? Hey, what's up with all these guys offering 18 cents a foot for upgrade splicing?! I have taken three calls in the past week where the prices are ridiculous! Two offered .18 and one as low as .13 That's coming from a prime! What the fuck?!!! I bet that .50 cal is sweet. My bro would appreciate that one. He's stock pilling arms right now, and has come up with some sweet ass deals. Pawn shops in Kentucky have some really low prices on really nice weapons. Most are in really good shape too. I believe the Cumberland Mountain region take their guns seriously! Take it easy and tell Teri hey.

Piece price? I have never seen it work out. I live and die by footage price. The last several piece rate jobs that I looked at were in some sopping ass gravy running where the piece of shit prime was getting footage and paying piece. Most MSO's do not pay piece rate, just greedy ass primes that want to get rich quick. It was designed for city running, with short spans and lots of equipment, and manueverability problems along with traffic control issues, but like I said, greedy ass bastards started applying it to rural running as well.

Hey Doug theres some guy I've seen hanging out around the yard, he usually has a couple of big trailers and shows up a couple of times a week to get wreckout and scrap. I'll get his name and number the next time I see him.
