maybe there is something wrong with my meter it says that it is capable of 250 cable chanels but when i hook it up to my tv i dont get anything. when i put its little antenna on and look at its screen i dont get a picture but i do get a funny beeping sound. does anyone have any suggestions?

satellitepatrol I dont know if anyone can answer that without looking at it. However this may sound stupid , but check the batteries. If they're low the meter may still work but your readings may be all screwed up.
