Good morning all,this place looks like a ghost town.I had a person E-mai me telling me that you need to purchase a firewall box as an add on to your computer,stating its price at around $100.00.They also stated that anti virus software had to be upgraded weekly.I,m astounded!Anyway so I am told once a hack gets inside your computer he does basically as they please,they can look at anything in your computer,they can use your computer as a sattelite,in other words they could be in Calf.and operate through and from my computer in N.C.,once in if they want they install a cookie,this can be used several ways,it can be set up so every time you log on it flashes on their screen,the hack can see every thing you do,read what you write before you print it.I'm sure they can do so much more,but this old dog don't have all the answers yet.Here is the old dogs left field guess!Suppose there was an individual or group that had enough money to hire a team of hacks to hack into everybodys unprotected computer that visited this site,they install a cookie that allows them to monitor everyones lives that come here, in cable,that would give them power and knowledge of everyting pertaing to cable in the USA.They whould have the ability to know about things (upcoming work etc.) before it ever happened.To all you guys that have been writing a bunch on here where did you go gentlemen???This old dog has got alot to do today,I'll check back in tonite,Hope everbody has a great day and makes BIG$$$$$$$$$$ SeeYa

A free firewall is just that, they are limited to what they will do. If you want a good firewall program, one that has been featured and tested on ZDTV then go to Znet and search for Black Ice. It will warn you of any attempt even by your own ISP (yes they do snoop around in your computer from time to time to make sure you are not doing anything illegal).
Black Ice will tell you the intruders computer name (most people name there computer after themselves) there IP address, what they attempted, when they attempted to get in, it scans all the time. When they tested it they contacted several internet security companies to have them try to get passed it (none could) and they offer a reward if you can!! No one has yet!
It cost $59.95 with free upgrades for life. You can block and report users to there office. I have caught collage computer professors trying to hack in my computer (after contacting there ISP they said they where testing a new security program of there own) but it stopped them! I have caught computer repair companies (these guys sit on there asses all day and play with computers
and attempt all the time) more of them than any others. You get what you pay for. Good Luck!

ok i guess the jigs up and you all didnt even guess by my name. i truelly am not a contractor i have been sent here by the home dish market to spy on all of you.part of my mission was to start shit between all of you so we could take over,my next part was to post jobs that wernt there and to change prices on those that were . you no that posting for .10 per foot it was really .75 pr foot. there really is no big shutdown i have just been telling all the mso's that you guy's were on strike this week . man are they pissed they think you are holding out for dannish and lattes. oh well i'll keep you informed as to how my plan is going
