Hey Ugly Bros. What the hell are you talking about shit being sold in the Great Peach State? Where the fuck do you get your info from you ugly in-bred bastard? Just to let everyone know, when I or any one mentions the "UGLY BROTHERS" we are all talking about Roger & Wesley Isreal. They were caught by a Charter Tech. up in the same bucket, fully extended and ass ramming eachother, about 35' in the air, while watching some old lady hanging out her laundry. All I gots to say is bring it on you Ugly Fucks!!!! I'll take both your fagot in-bred asses on. Well I see that the sun rose upon the the same old pile of shit that is the wonderfull world of
cable contracting.The only way to change the world is to change the people in it.I wonder if those two guys in the bucket
were wearing their harnesses and hardhats.Of course I wonder what the Charter guy noticed first too.Ya'll just try to be safe out there.

hello to all. been reading the post for quite some time now
cable is a great venue to make the bucks. love the work...
but nerves stay raw from the liars and cheaters that constantly
come to light. prime offers you chance to go for it in cable,
gives you this big song and dance about how he's been dumped on
in the past, wants to have honest reliable word with in-house and
sub's. wha wha wha. all sounded good in the beginning, 'till the
truth begins to show. haqven't turned in an invoice in months that
got paid right. new office= new deduction.
tired of "new office" build another one= bigger
deduction. prime over spends on personal toys=
new AND bigger deduction. get a price list on monday,
turn in invoice on friday, payday comes and "
OOP'S sorry we can't pay that" or "I never said I'd
pay you for going out of your way and job description"
invoice hacking seems to be the days entertainment for
the little "give her a job so she will be happy" office
Mama. So glad to know where to go to read, be silent in the
wings until you can get a grip on who is full of shit and who
has honor. Thank the Good Lord that an honest word and work
grows a reputation that stands for the man doing the work, not
for the dishonest, cheating, dog you behind your back to try to
keep you from being wisked away by the stand up kinda guys co.
As for you who read this and think you see yourself......if you
question that it is you I referr to, then you must be fully aware
of what you do and how wrongly you treat people. Don't go crying
in your wheaties when all you have left working for you are
green beans learning from half-asses. Don't go trying to piss in
a good mans wheaties either, you will loose in the end.

p.s. the previous posting referrs to what has been
addressed here in these pages, inclusive of all who
could fit on either side of the fence. Don't expect
it to change anything, but wouldn't it be nice if
this business ran on honor and truthfulness. A man
is only as good as his word and the work he does.

Question for all you splicer...
What is the best/most reliable torch to buy?
My most recent torch purchases were a Bernz O Matic TS4000, the striker lasted about 2 weeks. So then I upgraded to the TS7000, its striker lasted about 3 weeks. I don't smoke so I don't carry a Zippo. Now I'm carrying a torch striker, another tool to keep up with.
Is there a torch out there with a more reliable striker?

the bernz-o-matic hose torch is the best. better than the craftsman (same torch, different name) my ignte works great. damn near lites on first click every time. my old bernz-o-matic clogged up. igniter still good. had the one that clogged over 2 years. this new one about 4 mos. no problems. becareful. dont drop them or let them smack into the pole. both surefireways to mess the head up.

Light + Power + Cable + Parts X Management=On Schedule Upgrade. I dont think that formula is very complicated but,I dont see very many jobs that have the same answer.
