dan? what i want built first? i dont understand. a box car would be most welcome, none more than with your logo emblazened on the sides! that would be most excellant! i only have 2 requests tho. first and foremost a 1:29 scale ('G') guage #1 would be the preferred choice for ANY rolling stock donated, and 2nd, the era should be from the '60's on up (steel box car-not a wood box car-dont worry, thats just the styles, they are all plastic)

richard, as you have probably already read, CableLand Railway is a 'G' scale, or 'Garden ' r/r or 'goofy' because 5 different scales share the 'G' classification. i like the old steamers, the big ones like the pacific 4-6-2. i do plan on aquiring a 4-6-2 pacific for the CLRY, but not for some time yet (christmas time the earliest). what with the town CLRY serves being named CableLand, the motive power is late 50's to present. motive power consists of (so far): 1 GE-U25B diesel, 1 EMD GP-7 diesel, 2 AmTrak City Express electric.

oh yeah. the CLRY also took posession of: 1 Thomas the Tank Engine an 0-6-0 side tank steam switcher, and 1 James the Red Engine 2-6-0 steam switcher. these 2 steamers belong to my daughter who is a passenger in thomas's coaches. the CLRY also has a Baldwin 4-6-0 steamer that belongs to my youngest son who is the brakeman. however it is m.i.a as it was sent for repairs 1 1/2 months ago and has'nt been seen or heard about since.

Yes, Richard, it was Brad Adams. I didn't work in Alhambra. When I was at DaCain, we were right across the tracks from them, when they were in Ontario,next to Comcast. We were both doing work for Comcast in the west San Bernardino valley area. SlicerLife, not trying to be bad ass, just stating a fact that has kept me from getting ripped off for many years of this business. Say, what you want, negativity or whatever, but I feel getting your ass ripped off, especially after working your ass off to earn it, is pretty f--king negative. I just stated that there is no need for a union, just more heart. Take it as you will. I also get tired of people that want to run their yap about me in here, then hide behind a screen name because they know they are fabricating bullshit. At least I stand behind what I say and have some backbone. Not living in fantasy land or blowing smoke up someone's ass. Hey Dan, things going pretty good. Cutting up in South Virginia. You still in the construction phase down in Polk County? Pig trails, huh? Should mean your in the county on some good ass running.

I meant SplicerLife. Oh, and as far as the negativity, it's always here and is probably what brings most back, they want to see what the hell is going to be said next, kind of like a cable cliffhanger! I really do not give a crap who reads it or what they think of me. I can run circles around most out there and have stayed busy almost 20 years because, FACT is, I get the job done and know how to find work. Not scared to work hard, or whine because it is a little rough, or bitch because someone else got gravy, or the pay is not what I think it should be. So, to those of you that are offended, scroll past it, don't read it! Pretty freaking simple! Does that suit you, Splicer? Oh, and I hope your fiber car doesn't derail. You'll play hell getting another shipment for a pretty good while. LOL.
