We've had 1 lineman over 300lbs, now that makes a dent in any pole, very scary to see on gaffs.

Hey if anyone is looking for work I suggest you don't go to a certain contractor that is working on RCN projects in the boston area and the Philly area first of all they can't handle the work they do and second they bail on everything that they do ( Which really does alot for their reputation ) Then when the owner realizes he's in trouble he and he can't make the numbers to impress the big bosses he lay's everyone off and blames it all on the coax. Plus they work along side of a bunch of power guys who know nothing about cable and think that putting up 500 feet of feeder a day is a good job. To some things up the company is a joke they have only one manager that knows what they are doing and the rest just push pencils and collect paychecks. Plus they lay off top guys so they can make the budget look better. Heed my warning guys this place is no place to work. Hey Bob good luck trying to save things....... I wonder if The big bosses will be looking to ax you pretty soon. If they do can you afford that fancy new house and porsche??????????????

I know what you mean. I worked there for eight months as part of a management team. RCN let us sit there for two months before they would allow us to do what we were hired to do. Then they gave us shit for not getting the numbers.RCN Philly has alot of good people working for them. I hope thier upper managment doesn't screw thier own people like they've screwed the previous project team.
