Yes. Ladders are too slow and bulky to be used all the time. Not to mention the fact that my shoulder is killing me at the end if I have to drag the thing around all day :)

Hey Steve Meyers - I lost your number. E-Mail it to me @GVest357@*****.com. I just returned from splicing in Tennessee. I was down in Rogersville and Sneedville. I have been without my computer since the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so that is why it took so long. Anyway, drop me a line. Looking for somewhere to spend a few weeks till Kingsport starts. There are 5 of us and all are good seasoned splicers, so if you need some help there, in Kentucky that is, let me know. Dave knows the guy I am working with, name is Todd Cody. Joe McClary - I am trying to get in touch with you, but everytime I dial, it goes straight to a busy signal. It's like there is a problem with the line or something. I have called several people in the 828 area code today without a problem, so I don't know what is going on. Anyway, need to get up with you. Call me or e-mail me. I will be moving back there the day after Christmas. Found a good place in Clemmons. I ran into Kevin over in Sneedville, Tenn. last week. He was working with Holcomb's bunch. That was some pretty good running. Kingsport isn't kicking off till the 15th of January, so we are trying to fill the void somewhere. Give me a call.
