I'm new to the industry and have a few questions....GAWD!!!! OK I have learned to do end-of-lines, sweep and balance Line-extenders, and now I'm sweeping to 2db inputs. Hitting the Dual Powering High bread chip at 12db, with a tilt 13 at 49 db on ch 134. My markers can never be more than +-1 db of design. My interstage EQ is normilized intill I have 3400 feet of total cabling, it's Value being 17db. I keep ending up with a camel hump looking sweep pic, roll off on both ends....ok here is the thing.....my sweep supervisor fixed it and kinda laughed and told me to fix the high end roll off...he told me to find the answer, ok....whats the answer?....I know he's right ...he fixed it and got a 2.1 5 deep out to 870....I need to know!....thanks

Question, your balancing at 116 but your AGC's are set at 78, now do you derate and set your AGC's at78 and monitor roll off or do you set them at 116 and monitor 78 for hump???

Ok..hummmmmm I hope you only derate when that TAP is less than a 23, and the AGC TRACKES only THAT chanel....get this I worked for a cable company where the agc channel was scrabled....duh...what a mess!!!!!!!!!hehe

Well guys, today I am off to cancun for vacation. The first vacation I have taken from catv for 8 years. I won't know how to act. I'll prob. be looking at the cable in cancun. You guys all have a good holiday and keep it safe.....
