Hey Y'all LT/NS.Anybody tell me all about "Span-pro"?
Don't care to hear it from a 'span-pro man'as his
opinion of the company may change when he is no longer
in the stable. If you know what I mean.In response to earlier
posting about 'weaving' strand,in wire rope lingo the thing you
described is a flemish eye or flemish splice, some call it a 'molly'
hitch. Its a neat trick and strong if done right but never forget
it is a temporary thing.God have mercy on the man who leaves it on
the line for some tech to unravel.Good way to kill someone.

I worked in Osage Beach, Ark but it was all road side, did a lot in Fla,I swear every dog in Fla is part Pit, I remember lashing fiber and those Banana spiders dropping on ya, and then you've got the chiggers in Texas easement, chiggers and power violations, (Irving, Oak Cliff, or the vined out poles in Austin)Calif comes in a close 2nd in my book,Simi Valley, Porterville, reminds me of Fla as far as dogs and acsess problems, but the heat out there is different, it's like being in a sauna all day, any one ever worked in Belle Glades Fla ? we went in back in 88-89 I swear that whole town is a crack corner, I carried a gun on my belt and my ground man had one on the truck, I've worked in some pretty rough area's, this was one of the toughest.

SPLICERLIFEFORME... I AM THE JOB SUPERVISOR FOR MASTEC WORK THE LITTLE ROCK UPGRADE. ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A SPLICING JOB. THE OVERALL OF THE JOB IS GOOD, I SEE THE CHECKS THE SPLICERS MAKE HERE AND THEY ARE GOOD. THE EASEMENT ROADSIDE PERCENTAGE IS ABOUT 50/50, BUT THE EASEMENTS ARE VERY, VERY NASTY.... POWER IS NOT IN GOOD SHAPE HERE EITHER, THAT DOESN'T HELP, WHILE OVERLASHING 875 STRAND BRAKES!! IT TAKES UP ALOT OF TIME..... ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME...
