hey private you should always check out the company/contractor before you even take your tools out,and if I remember there's a worthless check form that your bank will furnish you for the bad check, as far as getting your money, there are many legal steps you can take, you'd better have all your paper work togeather, and you may have to stand in line, if the guy is a rip off, your probably not the only one looking for some money.
