well if tci/at&t could get there shti together then all would be great in chicago, but node have no lite/ no stock/ absolutely no mangerment. as a fact if the snow doesn't ruin you day it for damn sure something else will. but in the true cabledog way no matter what the job get's done. and better times are just around the bend. so it's time to get rid of the 4layer's of clothers and get right. to my brother cabledog make lot's of money&be safe.

Splicer, I figured anyone with any smarts would know what I meant. Sorry that I forgot about you--it's a bad thing. Mark, things are going great!! I had been very busy. But just when a guy sees an end in sight, things just get busier. We have 1 week to activate, sweep and certify 650 miles. I think we finally have enough man-power to do it if we don't run in to too many problems. I don't know if you've every swept any plant with DWDM but it turns out that we don't really know what we are doing when it comes to that. I think that we (as sweep techs) should just balance the return and then use BER testing when certifying it instead the current set of tests for analog carriers (CSO, CTO, C\N). Think about it, if the only analog signal that will be in the sub-bands will be status monitoring---why do use analog tests when we certify it? I don't get it but that is the way we do things (for now). My suggestion to all that do proof and performance----gear up and go to school on BER testing. The MSOs are eventually going to figure this out too and then we will need the re-certify all the return in their plant. Anyway Mark, I will be in touch this week. Sorry for the neglect but I know that you understand.
