Taro Communications - Prime Contractor - NOW HIRING: 1099 MDU Fiber Contractors & Missile Crews
Locations: Indianapolis, IN & Louisville, KY
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
We are rapidly expanding our network and are actively seeking experienced 1099 Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) Fiber Contractors and Missile Crews to help us build out MDU properties in the Indianapolis, IN and Louisville, KY markets.
If you are a reliable, detail-oriented crew looking for steady, high-volume work, we want to partner with you.
??? WE SUPPLY ALL MATERIALS!
You provide the labor, tools, and expertise. We provide 100% of the materials needed to complete the job, including:
Sealant
Feed-through bushings
1-hole clips
Fasteners
Tie-wraps
All fiber cables
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Inside Wiring: Unit to IDF
Post-wire a 1-fiber drop from each individual unit to the Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF).
Secure the drop vertically using 1-hole clips.
Neatly bundle to the feeder using tie-wraps.
2. Inside Wiring: MDF to IDF
Post-wire a 24-fiber flat drop from the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) to each IDF.
Secure the 24-fiber flat drop both vertically and horizontally using 1-hole clips for a clean, professional finish.
3. Underground: Missile Crews
We are also seeking experienced missile crews to bore and place underground conduit on our MDU properties.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Proven experience in MDU fiber deployments, post-wiring, and/or underground missile boring.
Tools & Transportation: Must have your own standard telecom hand tools, ladders, safety gear (PPE), and a reliable work vehicle/truck.
Insurance: Must carry standard 1099 contractor insurance (General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Workers' Comp or Exemption).
Quality: Commitment to high-quality, clean, and professional installations.
Professionalism: Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a clean work environment on multi-family residential properties.
