No it wasn’t insulated. From what I was told, they made only 12 of them and only 7 were working at the time. The boom was just like the t-40b only a few feet longer. The one I worked out of was owned by HRW out of Fresno, ca, later CableCom bought them out and it was remounted and was in Vegas at a trade show. That was in the mid to late 90’s
