I have never had much luck with a C doing overlash. I always use a J for overlash. C will work but you HAVE to remove the strand lock and the front plate. If it is brand new I would suggest getting some graphite poweder and dust the hell out of everything and run it down a line a few times without actually lashing just to break things in, then check the guide rollers that the barrel runs on. Again I would stick to a J regaurdless the size of the bundle. Good Luck and be safe.
