Re: Hurricane Work

Yea, my company rebuilt after Hurricane Andrews back in 90's in S Dade Cty Fl.  Same problems, I had to bring in a fuel truck, made one of grunts do food runs some 50 mile away.  Had crews in tents/camper/etc...., shipped in cases of bottle water.. purchased generator for the crew, had to move out 100 miles to find Em.   What I'm saying is that the profit you make (if in fact you make a profit} isn't worth the efforts you had to put up with.  Then the MSO wanted me to do this work....one units, Folks you can not do Hurricane Storm related work on UNITS.   If you do take the bite and go.....your crews will be waiting on Power to complete their portion of work before you can move in.    Building cable / fiber don't work like power in continuity !!!   Keep Safe....There is work hazards doing Storm work
