Hurricane work.....Warning
Anybody considering working in Louisiana on storm work needs to be aware that there is virtually no lodging, food, fuel, water, vehicle repair, or any other normal service available anywhere from Mississippi border to Baton Rouge, and going northward at least 50 miles from I-12.
And with power restoration expected to take a month or more those conditions are likely to worsen.
Stores that have generators have long lines and restricted hours and many are only letting people in one at a time.
Traffic is terrible and getting worse.
As food and gas shortages worsen violent crime and property crime will increase.
