Does anyone out in the real world still use needle-nose and the ripcords to prep armored OSP fiber? I have heard rumors of putting it in a drill chuck to pull them with a drill but cant find any videos? I am concerned about going too deep using a longitudinal cutter, and nicking the buffer tubes. but too shallow and the corrugated doesnt split. Basically, does everyone have a better way to prep fiber than pulling ripcords by hand?
