I am wondering if anyone else is having issues communicating with the SDA-5000 meters swith the QAM option. I am running XP on a MSI U100 laptop and using a USB to serial dongel. I cannot sync to the meters with the QAM options, but I have no problem syncing to the meters without the QAM option.
With the cloning cable, I can communicate between all of the meters for copying channel plans, but without PC communications I cannot store files on the meters with the QAM option. I have tried 3 different dongels, and different null modem PC to Stealth cables to no avail. I am running Stealthware 7.0 on the PC, and the frimware versions on the QAM meters range from 3.0, 3.2, and 3.6.
I thought that maybe if I installed the 7.1 patch it might help but I can find it nowhere.
Anybody having this issue or have the pathch?
