I contacted the company involved several times regarding the sub who wasn't paying my husband and finally got the VP of the company, threatened the same thing and got a phone call within 2 hours from the guy who handled the money - instead of a mechanics lein he cut Dan a check from the money owed to the sub who hadn't paid up. But travler is right - threats are what it takes sometimes to finally put things in perspective! Good luck.
