Qualifications
We are hiring Horizontal Directional Drilling Boring crews for underground fiber projects, Fiber to the Home (FTTH). The HDD Operator is required to have long term experience using a Ditch Witch or Vermeer, other excavation equipment operation experience is preferred. The Locator must have experience with guiding the Operator and Locating underground obstacles, some Ditch Witch experience is preferred as well.
Other Requirements
We also are hiring 2 Laborers per crew who will assist the other crew members as well as use a shovel and other tools to remove ground then put it back after the fiber is placed. ****Travel is required as we have various projects in other states. ****

The Horizontal Directional Driller (HDD) operates equipment necessary to safely and efficiently install fiber-optic cable. Must have experience with HDD around utilities in rural and urban areas, experience reading prints and schematics and the ability to train and mentor other team members.
Job description:
• Operating a construction machine, i.e machine for directional boring (HDD machine).
• Performing excavation work and transporting a certain amount of soil according to the order of the immediate supervisor.
• Taking care of the correctness of the machinery - cleaning, lubrication and general maintenance of the machine.
• Controlling the complete equipment on the machine and the machine itself.
• Checking of the safety of the machine before starting to work and adhere to all measures in the field of safety and health at work.
• Daily maintenance of the machine worklist with all data.
• Taking all necessary measures in order to comply with quality standards and improve efficiency and productivity in their field of work.
• Perform all other relevant duties at the request of the supervisor.
• All other projects and duties as assigned according to your supervisors.
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in the field of Construction machine operation
• Strong interest to learn and grow in the industry
