Job Description
We are hiring a professional in aerial and underground fiber optic construction and maintenance who works as a team player and provides the best of his experience in building the future of the Telecommunications Industry with Utilities One.

Responsibilities:
• Install underground and aerial telecommunications cabling, boring, trenching, etc.;
• Undertake pole removal, pole transfers, and set and install new underground cables;
• Aerial fiber optic cable placement and pole setting/transfers;
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair overhead fiber lines;
• Safely operate specific equipment and machinery;
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks;
• Read and interpret engineering plans;
• Keep a detailed record of work activity;
• Access construction points as required;
• Lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds;
• Perform other related duties in Utility construction as assigned.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of Aerial Lineman, telecommunications experience;
• Proficient in new build, coax & fiber installation, and pole transfers;
• Ability to work at heights of 20+’ feet;
• Capable to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout the work shift;
• Lineman, Power, or Telecom Trade School is an advantage;
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
