Qualifications
Proficient in new build, coax & fiber installation and pole transfers. Knowledge in building strand, lashing, pole transfers & grounding. Valid, unrestricted drivers license, must be 18 years old. CDL preferred but not required, clean driving record. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. For consideration, candidates must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug test.
Other Requirements
Subcontractors must have insulated buckets and their own tools; we will provide truck and tools for inhouse personnel
Job Description
Projects encompass Rural Broadband Development projects; Hyperbuild, Node Splits, Self-Support ADS Fiber, Fiber Deep Upgrade work and Business As Usual work.
Required Knowledge:
• Experience with CATV / Broadband construction specifications
• Familiar with N.E.S.C
• Must have experience placing strand, coax and fiber
• Familiar with the operation and maintenance of a bucket truck
• Ability to climb poles with hooks and belts
• Must be able to read & understand CATV/Broadband prints
