Job Description
Requirements:
1) Have a valid Driver License
2) Be a team player
3) Must work in a safely manner and use all PPE
Bore Rig Operator:
1) Have 2 years experience working a bore rig
2) Must be able to perform physical manual labor duties within the work day
3) Must know how to direct the crew and lead by example
4) Commercial license a plus but not required
Locators:
1) Must have 2 years experience locating and working on a bore crew
2) Must have the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
3) Must have the ability to kneel, dig, etc.
4) Commercial license a plus but not required
Underground laborer:
1) Experience preferred but not required
2) Commercial license a plus but not required
3) Must be able to dig, pull fiber optic cable
4) Must be able to lift heavy objects
5) Must be able to use a jackhammer, tamper and other u/g tools
6) Must be able to work in inclement weather
7) Must have the ability to assist in the installation of conduit, hand holes, fiber optic cable, etc.
Fiber Splicers:
1) Must have 3 years of fiber splicing experience
2) Must have knowledge of test equipment (preferably EXFO)
3) Must know how to prep and splice a mid-sheath location
